Academy double: Youngsters back on the Austrian summit

U18 league title brings UEFA Youth League qualification​

Great news from the Red Bull Football Academy! Tobias Kern's U18 team secured the ÖFB Youth League title early this season, thus also qualifying for the UEFA Youth League 2026/27. With 18 wins, one draw, and only three losses, the young Bulls sit atop the table with a clear lead over Sturm Graz and St. Pölten NÖ. They received their well-deserved championship trophy in their final home game of the season!

Almost a hat-trick: U16 win, U15 lose out narrowly​

The U16 team from Liefering also secured their title long ago - losing only one match all season - and were presented with their championship trophy at their final home game.

Our U15 team was also in contention for the title throughout the season, ultimately finishing in second place behind Austria Vienna.

Congratulations to all players, coaches and staff of the entire Red Bull Football Academy on securing the U18 and U16 championships early! These results are the product of everyone's dedication, characterised by their enthusiasm and professionalism – true to the motto of 'success follows success.' The mutual support within the coaching teams makes us proud, and especially this season, these results are the achievement of each individual – Danny Galm was initially the U18 coach and is now the FC Liefering coach, and we often had to find personnel solutions for the academy teams as well. A lot has changed, but our performance has not – this is an ideal example of how an academy should function. On behalf of the academy management, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for this united effort. This moment gives us further motivation to continue on our path with joy and conviction.
