Turnovers killed this team yesterday, but as I stated earlier here neither did this team stink up the place nearly as bad as many would insinuate. Most of the turnovers were not "stupid" mistakes. Seatttle's aggressive play and hard hitting created a good part of those turnovers.

I do think it is a fair assessment to say that Seattle played more aggressive in general, and that is indeed a problem that needs to be addressed. But neither do I think, especially after reviewing the tape through the first half, so far, that the Cards stunk the place up as much as many are claiming.

Boldin was almost cut in half on the play that ended up being intercepted. The ball, as it did more than once yesterday, just seemed to take a fortuitous "bounce" enabling the interception.
It was not a bonehead mistake by Boldin at all.

The only "bonehead" mistakes I saw were the 2 blown coverages on Darrell Jackson, and it was certainly no secret that we came into this game very suspect at the CB position.

Rhinehart and Hill, for the most part, are just not getting the job done. McCown tried forcing the ball where he shouldn't have in the one interception, but overall, actually played a fairly decent game. I don't think this loss can be accurately pinned on his poor play at all.
