Monty helped develop Embiid. The Sixers roster hasn't had a lot of turnover either as a number of players are there since when Monty was also like Tobias Harris, Shake Milton, Furkan Korkmaz. Although that was under Brett Brown instead of Doc but Doc isn't a great coach who changed a lot.

Glad Monty brought back the starters when he did, with a big lead. Instead of staying with the second team too long and having a small lead for the starters to defend.

I mean he was a straight assassin before that injury, but it's even more impressive one he's getting all of the defensive attention frequently

Bench wasn't as offensively productive as it was last night but they also played good defense (particularly in the 3rd) to match

To be fair I didn’t see the first half but I give him credit where credit is due in the 2nd.
