A lot of other players left out especially linemen. But overall there will be more yes than you would expect.

Listened to the Rise Up See Red podcast. They had read up on the new roster rules.

The 3 players that were put on PUP (Bj, Nolen, Niclas) before TC can remain on PUP without counting against the 53.

Hernandez was signed during TC but never passed his medical clearance to play (they only tested his injury), so he falls under the same rule.

This season you can put 2 players on PUP with roster exemption before cutting down to 53. Earlier you had to put them on 53, then pup and you could sign someone else that you had already cut. Connor and Jones were put on PUP.

That means up to 6 players can make the 53, who earlier would not have made it.

I would vote to keep knight and cut Dallas. Have knight return balls. Deejay ain’t nothing special in his return game and is a total liability as a running back

I think Fehoko is a lock due to ST and his size and what he's shown so far. It's tempting to give 4 and 5 to Fehoko and Weaver, but I can't imagine a world where the Cardinals cut Dortch. So I think once again Weaver goes to the PS.

Thought Tune looked a lot better. He gets props because the O-line was pretty weak. Two UFAs started at the tackle positions against the Raiders No. 1s. The outcome was about what you’d expect. He’ll Likely land on practice squad, but I’d rather him be there instead of someone picked up from another team. Overall, I’m not excited about our depth. Hope my concerns are ill founded. We’ll see.

I think this is pretty easy except for Crawford. I would say yes but then that would mean no Blount who they gave a nice two year deal this off-season. However, Blount and Bacciela were captains for the coin toss last night. Was that a "thank you" for their hard work the last couple of years as a goodbye present? Maybe. If so then Crawford is making it.

I like both of them and expect them to be on the roster when one or two of the top 3 RBs inevitably get hurt.

But they don't cut it on special teams. They actually had Carter out there on a punt return last night. Not as a returner but like at a LB position. It was weird. He hit nobody. Dallas easily makes it.

Dallas is making this team. He’s a valuable AND nasty special teams guy. Rogers and JG love what he brings to this team. For the first time maybe ever, we will be cutting legit NFL players this year.

The one I don't get based on how I have seen him play is Josh Fryar. I guess it's the coach connection that really matters and I understand he can develop. The AZCentral guy put him on the 53 man roster and last night in the post game AQ Shipley was explaining why he thinks he has locked down a spot
