Los Angeles police detained San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday afternoon after he indicated he was in possession of a bomb.
The police did not identify the man they detained as Smith, but 49ers general manager Trent Baalke issued a statement that confirmed it, saying: "We are disappointed to learn of the incident today involving Aldon Smith. As this is a pending legal matter and we are still gathering the pertinent facts, we will have no further comment."

Did Pete Carroll go out of his walk to talk about other teams and how they conduct business and then go out of their way to talk about the principles derived from your college coach and how you not only need to win but to win while being above reproach?!

Harbaugh put that expectation on himself and on his team .... they've failed miserably

Not only have they seen their head start in the division completely erode, watch their divisional rival lift the Lombardi in dominating fashion, but their team has turned into a clown car of bad behavior all while Harbaugh moans about his contract (he should see the extension Carroll just received!) and creates waves with ownership and the front office

He specifically called for the above reproach tag ......... just a shame he never had a chance to realistically carry it ..... maybe he'll actually learn to keep his mouth shut, but I doubt that

DD stopped raining at the strip club- so I feel so much better - I mean I am happy he has kept it legal - I still remember him saying he wishes Cardinal fans were more like 49er fans! made my eyes bleed red!

I hope the Niners never win another game, but respect Jim Harbaughs ( and Johns) team building and play calling - run game and defense is still the most consistent way to a championship.

they'll have a job in a heartbeat if he ever left. Why do these players need babysitters? Why should a team mate "leader" have to spend energy to keep them in line? I think they know right from wrong - They just don't care about or respect themselves!

I think pink undies at Sheriff Joe's "Posse" wouldn't hurt them at all- and not as the damned guest speaker either! Guest listener role fits them nicely! The more breaks they get the more limits they test.

Again big props too DD and the Honeybadger! Dwash has another chance going forward - but- pink undies are an option!
