The San Francisco 49ers will play a second game outside of the United States in the 2026 NFL season, but at least one won't be 18 hours ahead.

The NFL announced Wednesday that the 49ers will head to Mexico City, Mexico, for their Week 11 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. The game will be played at Estadio Banorte — where Mexico's national soccer team players — on Nov. 22 at 7:20 p.m. central time. It is the final international game of the 2026 slate.

This is the second known 49ers game alongside San Francisco's Week 1 bout with the Los Angeles Rams in Australia. The rest of the NFL schedule will be released Thursday night.

The 49ers have played in this stadium before when San Francisco lost to the Arizona Cardinals, 31-14, on Oct. 2, 2005. San Francisco has played two other international games, both wins in London (in 2010 and 2013).
