4 WNBA couples on same team: Will Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers join?

By the end of the 2026 WNBA Draft, it's possible that Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers could be teammates once again with Azzi Fudd.

This is significant for a few reasons -- they were teammates at UConn, and... they're dating, as far as we know. They became official back in 2025 and we haven't heard an update as of late, but Fudd has been seen at Bueckers' Unrivaled games.

Which brings us to a question you might have: If the Wings do take Fudd first overall on Monday night, how many other couples have there been on WNBA rosters over the years?


Let's answer that with some examples since we may not have the full, official list.

Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner​

They played together on the Connecticut Sun and the Phoenix Mercury.

NaLyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington​

They were on the Wings together before Smith was traded to the Aces.

Diana Taurasi and Penny Taylor​

They played on the Phoenix Mercury for years.

Natasha Cloud and Isabelle Harrison​

They were a couple together on the New York Liberty, but now Harrison is off to join the Toronto Tempo.
