It's going to be a busy summer for the Oregon Ducks. With official visit season underway and many of the country's top recruits looking to commit during the summer, the Ducks could boost their recruiting class very quickly.

One of the biggest targets for the Ducks this summer is four-star wide receiver Blake Wong. The Norco High School product announced his intentions on Wednesday to make his commitment at the end of the month. Wong will commit to one of his five finalists on June 27 at 2 p.m. PT live on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel.

The Ducks have been after Wong for some time, and now Oregon's five-star quarterback commit Will Mencl is publicly calling for Wong and several other top receivers to join the flock.

"We want Dakota Guerrant, we want Xavier Sabb, we want Blake Wong, we want Bode Sparrow," Mencl told media at the Elite 11 Finals. "In the 2028 class, we really want Braylon Clark - just to name a few. I feel really good about Xavier Sabb, Dakota. We're pushing."

Mencl's wish may come true. Guerrant and Sparrow are scheduled to visit this weekend, while Sabb will be in Eugene on June 19. Wong will visit the Ducks on June 12.

Wong visited Utah this past weekend and is scheduled to be at UCLA this weekend. After visiting Oregon, he will wrap up his tour of visits at Ohio State. Right now, BYU and Oregon appear to be the leaders in the race, but the Buckeyes have a track record when it comes to recruiting pass catchers, and UCLA is both on a hot streak and the closest to home.

The Ducks landed both Troy and Travis Dye from Norco in the past, and the hope is the Wong could be the next great Oregon star from the high school. Wong broke out in his junior campaign, making 84 catches for 1,469 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Wong is ranked No. 243 overall in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 31 wideout as well. The prolific receiver is an important piece for the Ducks to add as the program pursues another top five finish in the recruiting cycle.
