The thick of the recruiting cycle is over as college football teams around the country prepare for spring practices. However, Penn State has the unique challenge of having to work overtime to put together a recruiting board for the 2027 season.

They currently don’t have a single player set to join the team next year, but they are hoping things change soon with cornerback Semajay Robinson’s commitment on the horizon. The four-star prospect was offered by the Nittany Lions back in January and it became evident shortly after that they were the team to beat for his commitment.

There is still a long way to go before Robinson officially puts pen to paper, and even then, prospects are flipping commitments more now than they ever have before. With so much still up in the air, Robinson revealed that he will be taking a trip up to Penn State on Mar. 27 and Mar. 28.

The Florida product has excellent size for his position, standing at six-foot-three, 195 pounds with much more room to grow. The Nittany Lions love bringing in big, physical defenders, and Robinson more than fits the bill.

It sounds like they have an excellent chance to land the budding cornerback, and his visit later this month will be an important factor in making it happen.
