The Las Vegas Raiders have officially unveiled Klint Kubiak as their new head coach following Super Bowl LX. Kubiak helped the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl 60 as their offensive coordinator. He now takes over a Raiders squad that finished an NFL-worst 3-14 this past season.

Kubiak will be tasked with repeating his success as an offensive genius with the Raiders. We've identified the four building blocks he must build his Raiders offense around.

Fernando Mendoza, QB

The Raiders are going to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza at No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL draft. Kubiak will be expected to maximize the development of the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. A lot is riding on the Kubiak-Mendoza pairing.

Ashton Jeanty, RB

Kubiak oversaw an effective run game in Seattle with lead back Kenneth Walker III named Super Bowl LX MVP. In Vegas, Kubiak inherits a sophomore star in Ashton Jeanty. The Raiders need to build a successful rushing attack around Jeanty's untapped potential.

Brock Bowers, TE

Seahawks tight end AJ Barner caught the opening touchdown in Super Bowl LX. That position wasn't a focal point of Kubiak's offense in Seattle, but it'll be different in Vegas with superstar Brock Bowers. Bowers could be a high-volume target after Kubiak helped develop Jaxon Smith-Njigba into the Offensive Player of the Year.

Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL

Kubiak's scheme helped improve a Seahawks offensive line that was terrible in 2024 before his arrival. He needs to have a similar impact on a Raiders unit that struggled in 2025. Whether Jackson Powers-Johnson plays guard or center, JPJ needs to spearhead the new-look offensive line.
