The Las Vegas Raiders selected former tight end Brock Bowers with the 13th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Georgia product instantly cemented himself as one of the top tight ends in the NFL during his rookie campaign with the Raiders. Standing at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, Bowers is an athletic tight end with elite size and speed and will more than likely emerge as a top option for rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza across the 2026 campaign.
Raiders’ head coach Klint Kubiak was recently asked for his thoughts on Bowers, as Kubiak had some high praise for his Pro Bowl tight end.
“He’s kind of a football robot in a good way.” said Kubiak. “He's a football robot from heaven, he's a Cadillac out there. We got to get the most out of Brock. Wherever he goes, he's been successful in college and high school with whoever's coached him. Can't say enough great things about him. Love his work ethic. He is a standard bearer.”
Bowers has recorded 1,874 yards and 12 total touchdowns across his first two seasons in Las Vegas. The star tight end was targeted just 86 times in 2025 opposed to his 153 targets during his rookie campaign, and Kubiak has made it clear that Bowers will return as a focal point on the Raiders’ offense once again in 2026.
Bowers will look to put his talents on full display once again throughout his third season in the NFL, and the superstar tight end could quickly make 2026 his best season to date.
