Jackson Hollie (b. May 8, 2008) is a walk-on defensive end from Geary County who plans on majoring in business administration. I expect him to redshirt* and perhaps appear in a game or two in a reserve capacity.
Hollie prepped under legendary head coach Randall Zimmerman at Junction City High School, where he picked up all-state honors as a senior from The Wichita Eagle, Sports in Kansas and KSHSAA Covered.
He recorded 52 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, and an interception and a fumble recovery as a senior.
Hollie, who also competed in basketball and track in high school, participated along with his high school coach in the 2026 Kansas Shrine Bowl, where he was the recipient of the Mike Bell Most Inspirational Award.
*Keep in mind that starting this season, redshirted players can play in up to nine total games and retain their year of eligibility. If the 5-for-5 rule survives its court challenges, that number goes from nine to “all of them.”
