Before the Jacksonville Jaguars' full 2026 NFL schedule is announced, let's make a few predictions about what we think will take place.
As of now, it has been confirmed that the Jaguars will play the Eagles in London in Week 5 and the Texans in London in Week 6.
On paper, the Jaguars' strength of schedule ranks in the middle of the pack, although how the schedule falls can impact that.
Now, let's make some predictions before more games are leaked.
Teams that play internationally have the option to either take the bye week right after that game, or they can choose to play the following week, with the bye coming later on. With the Jaguars playing abroad in Weeks 5 and 6, my guess is that the Jaguars take their bye in Week 7.
We know the Jaguars are the home team in Weeks 5 and 6. In the four games leading up to those matchups, whether the Jaguars play two home and two road games or three road games and one home game, they will have played more games as the home team through the first six weeks of the season. This is also a year where Jacksonville has nine road games to just eight home games. At some point, that early-season discrepancy will have to be made up. So during Jacksonville's second half of the season, my guess is that the Jaguars will have to navigate a stretch where they play three road games in four weeks or four road games in six weeks.
The Jaguars emerged as a contender within the AFC last season. They also have several games in 2026 against other top-tier opponents within the conference. My prediction is that the Jaguars get three primetime games this season against New England, Baltimore, and Denver.
