The Alabama Crimson Tide will face North Florida in a three-game series at Sewell-Thomas Stadium this weekend.

The Tide enter the matchup fresh off a 13-4 victory over Alabama State on Wednesday night, as Alabama now finds themselves with an overall record of 11-3. Star shortstop Justin Lebron has been red hot at the plate to begin the 2026 campaign, as Lebron and the Tide will look to keep things rolling this weekend against North Florida.

Here are three bold takes for Alabama’s series against North Florida this weekend.

Justin Lebron continues to shine, records 2+ home runs

Lebron has been widely regarded as one of the top overall players in all of college baseball this season. The star shortstop went 2-for-5 with one RBI during the Tide’s victory over Alabama State on Wednesday night, as Lebron has played a massive role offensively throughout the first 14 games of the regular season.

Lebron could easily heat up at the plate once again against North Florida, as the star shortstop has been extremely impressive in 2026.

Tyler Fay dominates on the mound, records 6+ K’s

Fay has played a vital role on the mound for the Crimson Tide over the first month of the season. The talented pitcher currently holds a 5.52 ERA and an overall record of 2-1 in 2026, as Fay has played at a much higher level recently.

The star flamethrower could shine once again against North Florida, as Fay will more than likely be the Tide's starting pitcher to open the series on Friday evening.

John Lemm stays hot at the plate, records 3+ hits

Lemm has been one of the best catchers in the entire country throughout the first 14 games of play this season. The star senior was credited with two hits in four plate appearances during Wednesday’s victory, as Lemm was red hot both at the plate and defensively against Alabama State.

The talented catcher could certainly continue to shine this weekend, as Lemm has been excellent throughout his first season in Tuscaloosa.
