The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Ole Miss Rebels in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Friday evening.

The Tide enter the matchup as the No. 2 seed in the SEC Tournament, as Alabama was able to secure the double-bye with a victory over Auburn during the last game of the regular season. Alabama will advance to the semifinals, should they secure a victory over the Rebels, as the Tide will look to keep things rolling throughout the SEC Tournament.

Sherrell was widely considered to be a top defensive player in the SEC during the 2025-26 campaign. The star forward currently leads the Crimson Tide in blocks per game with 2.3, as Sherrell has been electrifying on both ends of the hardwood throughout the second half of SEC play.

Sherrell will be in prime position to dominate on defense once again against Ole Miss, as the big man has been excellent during his second season in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama will face Ole Miss in the quarterfinal of the SEC Tournament at 6 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to advance towards the semifinals.
