2027 NFL Draft: Cardinals two-round mock draft ahead of training camp

We are a month away from the start of NFL training camps and so we've updated our two-round mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals. In this scenario, the Cardinals are picking No. 1 overall and with that should be able to find their replacement for Kyler Murray, who left to the Minnesota Vikings in the offense.

First round - QB Dante Moore - Oregon​

We had Dante Moore as our No. 1 quarterback last season and believe he would have been a Top 3 pick had he declared. His return to Oregon should give him an opportunity to polish some things up in his game and cement his status as not only the top quarterback in this draft but our No. 1 prospect.

Second round - EDGE Princewill Umanmielen - Ole Miss​

Where the pick of Moore is all about what we've seen and what we expect, making Princewill Umanmielen a second-round pick is all about potential. He had a breakout season in 2025 with 13.0 sacks, giving him 20.0 over the past three seasons. If he can match 2025 or even improve, he could end up pushing himself out of range for the Cardinals in the second round.
