The final four teams in the World Cup are now official, with France, Spain, England and Argentina all making it to the semi-final stage.

France will be looking to reclaim their world title this month and first must overcome Spain to reach the final of the tournament.

Meanwhile, England will be looking to exact revenge on Argentina, who have eliminated them from the World Cup in 1986, 1998 and 2002.

For the first time in World Cup history, the top four highest-ranked teams will fill the four semi-final spots, highlighting the strength of the remaining sides.

2026 World Cup semi-final schedule​

The first of the two World Cup semi-finals will see France take on Spain on Tuesday at 8 pm (BST), with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe going head-to-head.

Then, England and Argentina will renew their World Cup rivalry, with Harry Kane’s team set to face Lionel Messi and co in Atlanta.

How to watch the World Cup semi-finals​

Both semi-finals will be broadcast live in the United States on Fox (English) and Telemundo (Spanish).

In the United Kingdom, France against Spain will be shown live on ITV1, whereas England’s meeting with the reigning world champions will be shown on BBC One.
