The Arizona Cardinals have seven selections in the 2026 NFL draft currently, one in each round. Their selection in the seventh round is the 217th overall pick. Since Round 7 is on Day 3 of the draft, these can be developmental, rotational and special teams player, and teams hope that maybe they can become more than that.

Who have been the last few players selected No. 217 overall? Let's have a look.

  • 2025: DT Jay Toia, Dallas Cowboys
  • 2024: OL Beaux Limmer, LA Rams
  • 2023: P Brad Robbins, Cincinnati Bengals
  • 2022: LB James Houston, Detroit Lions
  • 2021: RB Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears
  • 2020: WR Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers
  • 2019: CB Kris Boyd, Minnesota Vikings
  • 2018: LB Keiswahn Bierria, Denver Broncos
  • 2017: OL Corey Levin, Tennessee Titans
  • 2016: TE Rico Gathers, Dallas Cowboys

Limmer was a starter as a rookie for the Rams. Jennings has been very good for the 49ers. Boyd has made a career in special teams. Herbert was solid for the Bears for a bit. Levin has been OL depth for the Titans for years.

Houston had 5.5 sacks last season.

So the Cardinals can get someone who can stick around for a while if they pick the right guy.
