The Raptors will likely pursue Kawhi Leonard with a trade package centered around Brandon Ingram and draft compensation if the Clippers star becomes available this summer.Toronto and the two-time NBA champion would have mutual interest in a reunion, per
@JakeLFischer
.
I think it is crazy for anyone to trade for him with his knee issues and huge contract. Way to big of a risk IMO.

Not like he is going to make them a contender either.

Sources: Atlanta Hawks and sharpshooter Buddy Hield have agreed to push back the guaranteed deadline date on his contract so both sides have more time to flush out options. Of his $9.7M salary, $3M is fully guaranteed. Deadline was today.

Hmm. He may go back to Miami. They could actually use him.

The Hornets are also shopping Miles Bridges in trade talks as they look to further retool their roster around Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller.

Bridges is on a $22.8 million expiring contract.

Kon Knueppel is not someone I would build around.

Trade summary, per
@ShamsCharania
:

Wolves get - LaMelo Ball, Josh Green
Hornets get - Naz Reid, 2033 unprotected first-round pick, 3 first-round pick swaps, 3 second-round picks
Doesn’t seem like much for Lamelo

Insane chart.

Posted by someone in defense of the wolves trading for Lamelo, but I think Suns fans will find something more satisfying.

Nash is the greatest offensive facilitator of all time and it isn't even particularly close.

Really sucks that Colangelo sold when he did... Sarver's penny pinching ruined what could have been a Warriors like dynasty.

Yeah, I don't think anyone disputes that at this point.

I think it is clear the whole league has learned -Superstars - because of their huge pay packages just aren't as valuable as they used to be.
Still teams throw the bank at players who does not produce wins.

Wait! Where's Shaq on that list? Wasn't he saying Nash shouldn't be an MVP?

Self Destructing.
Yes! They traded away their defensive presence to get weaker on defense, to hopefully outscore opponents with their back court? I see them being easier to beat this upcoming season.

Desperate badly run teams do.

The Spurs and OKC seem to be content to build through the draft. The one big move the Spurs did make for Fox seems to have backfired.

IDK, Fox seemed to win them some games in the playoffs for them

Detroit’s All-NBA forward Jalen Duren was reportedly “underwhelmed” by the team’s initial offer in restricted free agency and is planning to explore sign-and-trade scenarios, per
@sam_amick
.

The gap between the two sides is significant enough that Duren is considering ways to land with another team, with a sign-and-trade seen as the preferred route.

And Charlotte gave away some offense for defense and save money. Plus a first round pick. They both took risk, like the Suns are
