Hopefully we can find some 6-6...
i wouldn't mind another talent that slips thru - if not - maybe another high risk high reward project

idk if ott just doesn't play rookies or if our rookies just didn't make the cut - but we're not drafting high enough to find out - not for years lol

The Clippers Are Reportedly Working Out A Lot Of Late Lottery Picks Even Though They Have The 5th Pick:

“Something interesting has been happening the last few days. I started talking to agents, I started talking to executives. The Clippers started going to visit prospects who were in the late lottery guys who could go from picks 10-15. They have the 5th pick. Why would they do that?”

I hope we can use Allen or O'Neale to move into the middle part of the firs, wouldn't surprise me if we're shopping Green too.

I don't see how we can carry all 3 of those guys into next year.

Who would want them? I am not saying they are bad players or have bad contracts, but what team would be in the market for Grayson or Royce over a pick in the mid first round?

I hesitate to give up Green. We really havent seen him at full speed yet. I don't see any player in this draft with Green's athleticism.

Well. I could see a deal tomorrow for something like Green, and Royce or Grayson and our second rounder, for Giddey and #15. Chicago already has the #4 pick and Green and his athleticism would be a fantastic fit in Chicago. Suns would get a starting pg to pair with Book, and then maybe pick up a player like Morez at 15. I don't know about what equal value really is, but it sort of balances out both team's rosters.

That would be nice if they could somehow swing something like that. I don't really see them being that ambitious or clever, though. They'll probably sit on their hands like they're holding some aces or something. I don't see them as having very smart management at this point.

The Mavericks are looking to trade Daniel Gafford in the next 48 hours to improve their draft pick, per
@BrettSiegelNBA

There's been some talk on Warriors sites they might be willing to move their pick to get Gafford but I don't know. I think it would be draft day on the clock type deal where they say wanted Mara or another player and he gets picked so they decide to just trade for Gafford

Aday actually fits much of the Andrew Bogut thing the Warriors have needed for a few years now, great passer, can block or change shots, not the screener that Bogut was but few are and he can learn. If he goes before the W's pick you can make a strong argument Gafford would be worth consideration.

I hesitate to give up Green. We really havent seen him at full speed yet. I don't see any player in this draft with Green's athleticism.

Royce is a solid 3 and D player on a steal of a contract, Grayson is one of the best 3 point shooters in the league, his contract would be well above water if not for that he was perpetually injured last year.

Hornets, Pistons, maaaaaaaaaaaaybe even the Warriors (if they think LeBron will sign on the cheap) would love to have one of those guys. Any young team with a good salary situation or any team that is desperate for that last gasp, I think Grayson and O'Neale would certainly be in play.

My BEST hope is for a mid first, but I think a pick in the 20s for one of those guys is absolutely attainable.

I feel like Green fits the archetype of so many highly athletic players who can do as much harm as good on a night to night basis. For him to be a positive player he needs to make a leap, progress in a skill he's been bad at... like passing, outside shooting, or defense.

I don't see the leap happening, and even if he does improve, he's a terrible fit with the guys who we're locked into. The Green, Booker, Brooks lineups were awful to watch.

That said, I think he's here next year, because I don't see anyone biting on his current contract unless we sweeten the pot.

He's young, he seemed to show flashes of buying into the system last year, so, if he stays, I hope he figures out his role.

Giddey is Booker that can beat a double team. If they get Giddey it's for Book not Green
