Strange

Apparently a lot of the QBs haven’t signed including the number 1 overall pick.
Allar is apparently waiting for Beck to sign.

Simpson is apparently waiting for Mendoza to sign.

Both those QBs were drafted in the same round as the guy they’re waiting for.

The Beck situation is ridiculous because he’s selected a full two rounds later than Mendoza and both the players around him have been signed. Whatever squabbling going on is over extremely minor details.

It will be done by the time camp opens, though.

I'm guessing the minor details probably revolve around Jacoby and what kind of playing time Beck is being told to expect. Basically how they are structuring the deal to meet expectations.

I very much doubt it. All the terms of the deal are bracketed by the CBA and the players around Beck.

It doesn’t matter because this deal gets done in five days or less.

Listening to bill lekas and Brad Hopkins on the end zone in nfl radio. They went game by game for every team in nfc west. Lekas called 2-15 for us, Hopkins called 1-16 for us. Pretty sure that should mean #1 pick. Let’s go!!!
I would have argued that prediction because I think we would beat the raider, jets and saints but those games are late in the season and Beck will most likely be playing by then. So, yaaaay, can't wait for another 14 to 24 months...:(

The Saints are not a terrible team and have a decently promising QB. I dont think the Raiders will be as bad as the last two years. Jets should be bad. Certainly all winnable though.

But yeah, we won't be winning many.

Sweet can’t wait for us to kill another QBs career.

AZ has never drafted a successful one.

I thought just money amounts are slotted, no? Actual terms and guarantees, schedules, etc are still negotiable. That's why some dude recently ended up with a fully guaranteed contract that irked most other teams.

Okay but the relative money for a third round pick is a pittance. The signing bonus and salaries are already settled.

They’re maybe quibbling about when the signing bonus get paid out, but if they are it has zero to do with whether or when Jacoby Brissett gets benched in 2026.
