Virgil spent his final season at Texas Tech after three years at Miami (Ohio). He has a very long frame but maintains good fluidity. He can high-point the ball, generally playing with good balance. Virgil's lack of great top speed will be noticeable at the next level, forcing him to make a mark through contested catches. In the fifth round, the Cardinals draft Texas Tech WR Reggie Virgil, who they hosted for a 30 visit.

Virgil had 57 catches for 705 yards and six touchdowns last season.

Uuuugh. I wanted Hecht here as backup/replacement for center. And then jags pick him with the very next pick. Hecht fits MLFs system. I think this is the first big whiff of the draft and I don't like Beck but I at least understand it.

He seems pretty redundant on this roster. I would much rather get someone with more speed to diversify. Or a developmental Olineman. It's a fifth rounder, so I'm not too bummed, but this seems like an unnecessary reach at an unneeded position.
