He already had his shot here and wouldn't do what the coaches asked. There is no way they bring him back.

It is really strange because even if I thought he was over drafted, it's wild that he has failed so badly without reported drug or attitude issues. And you are correct that a lot of internet draft thought he was a stud.

My guess is that the Niners place a claim for him
He is not a waiver player as he's been in the league too long. He was released, not waived. That is how you know the difference. He is free to sign with all 32 teams. This is why we can release Brewer and sign him back, he also doesn't go through waivers.
