Mikko Rantanen is still more than 10 days to two weeks away from any possible return.

He will not go on the road with the team this week.

Roope Hintz and Radek Faksa are further away from consideration.

They missed otter tonight. Lost opportunity to gain points on the avs but also didn’t lose any ground. Nice point streak comes to an end.

They missed those guys tonight. Especially on special teams. It sucks that they are out that long but also makes their point streak that much more impressive.

Dallas got romped last night after giving up a shorty in the 3rd period but I really liked the way robo played. He is heavy on the puck. Unlucky not to have at least a goal last night. Gonna be a sweet power play unit when rants is back. Hopefully hintz will be back too.

Dallas gains a HUGE point in the Central division race thanks to Otter

it was fun to watch. all 3 games with Colorado this year have gone to the shootout. it's so fun to watch them in 3 on 3. it's like two tennis players holding serve over and over again. remarkable players. I love watching heiskenan and makar, but in truth heiskenan is basically neutralizing McKinnon in OT. and dallas is doing this without Rantanen and hintz who will kill the avs on the power play if they are there.

last time they played dallas it was very one sided. that's the only team that I can recall made dallas look really bad. scary. it feels like it's between them and Carolina in the east. but it would be hard for me to pick against the sabres.

Vegas is playing .348 hockey since trading away Zach Whitecloud. That’s 30th in the NHL over that span, ahead of only the Leafs (.341) and Canucks (.325). With 12 games to go, they remain third in the Pacific, but the Kings, Kraken, and Sharks are all breathing down their neck.
