Just watched the game. Wow. The Bear has this team working hard and putting out a gritty effort each night. They are really surprising me.

We are 1 game under .500 and we will probably have our normal stretch of 9 losses in 10 games, but they certainly are making it real. With a team without any superstars, they are a fun bunch to watch.

I don't feel like we're going on a Cup run, but I agree, everything about our success so far speaks volumes about Coach's system and touch with the players. We'll very likely come down as other teams settle in and hit mid-season stride, but I'm loving the trajectory so far.

And another road win tonight—amazing!

I enjoyed it, but man, that was a lot of missed shots by the opposition. They were dictating play for a lot of the game. Maybe it was our pressure on the puck that kept them off target. Hard to say.

Special teams is what is making the difference so far. That is a huge step forward for this team.

The first period and a half vs the Rangers were incredible. They had the hustle but just couldn't get the puck across the line.

Weird is that if they would have won, they would have had pulled even at .500 and I would have never thought that they would be even close to that.

For sure. The NY goalie was very good and once the energy level dropped a bit from the Yotes, NY got some puck luck and never looked back. That was a very winnable game.
