Good for Triano. I liked how he handled things when Earl Watson was canned. I've always hoped the best for him after that. I know he doesn't aspire to be a head coach but he handled his time here as a classy guy.

LOL

I can't even begin to fathom how much money they are going to lose if they max him. Yikes.
I heard they plan to max him with playing time incentives. I heard on ESPN radio they did that with Joel Embid.

The Suns' rival is getting dollars for pennies. Meanwhile, the Suns are looking to get pennies for dollars.

Yeah I’m starting to get a really bad feeling about this.

I’m thinking it’s gonna be Jerami Grant and a bunch of second rounders

That wouldn't be a terrible scenario if the Suns keep Ayton.

Oh if we keep Ayton and add Grant that would be great but we’re gonna swap Ayton for Grant I have a feeling

That would be a bad trade especially with Grant on an expiring contract. I'm not even sure the Suns can get the salaries to work.

I'd definitely want draft picks included and the Pistons drafting for the Suns at #5.

If you can get 2-3 1st rounders then combine that with all your own picks and send someone a huge haul you do it but I don’t have that much faith

If we get a player worse than Sabonis this will be a huge failure by the front office because that’s who we could of had

Yeah, that's kind of like the Kevin Durant trade rumor that some in the media want.

I think even Sabonis would have been a considerable step down from Ayton.

Wasn't that just speculation and rumor? Sabonis was clearly on the block but that doesn't mean they wanted Ayton.

I think his playmaking, defensive rebounding, and toughness would have been a huge boost. He seems like a better fit for the .5 ball that Monty wants to play. Guys who move without the ball would have feasted with his interior passing.

I'm out of trade ideas. How about OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and a first round pick.
