It's called play him at PF. That would be tailoring for him, since he lacks the perimeter shooting skills to play guard.

The Sixers dumped Jimmy Butler because Simmons doesn't want another primary ball handler out there.

He isn't playing PF.

Simmons is going to end up in Sacramento, he is going to hate it there and they're going to be putrid.

If I were the 76ers I would want Tyrese Haliburton as part of the trade.

Maybe the Lakers can convince the Sixers to take Westbrook [sarcasm slightly here]. The Lakers have literally nothing else to trade outside of Bron and AD.

I could see Simmons landing in Orlando or Minnesota still. Sacramento seemed to be his preferred destination when Minnesota was trying to work something out. He's going to a bottom tier team that will get rid of some youth for him. I can't see him being in the playoffs for some time.

Dark horse possibility, Philly swaps Simmons for John Wall with Houston. Wall is sitting out waiting for a deal also but there isn't one coming unless they give up a bunch of picks to move him. He'd fit on the Sixers if he could stay healthy though. It depends on how far Simmons value has fallen. Houston was close to trading Harden for a package built around Simmons so I think they might gamble.

The Kings fire Luke Walton. Alvin Gentry will get strong consideration to be interim coach.

I saw this on Twitter. The Kings have had 10 coaches in 15 years, which coincides with their playoff drought.

There have been some good coaches there over that period as well.

It takes the right GM to turn a team around and an owner that will stay out of his way.

The Kings have some talent but as you point out, they need stability.

Amazingly enough, Luke Walton has the highest winning percentage among the last 10 Kings coaches.

That team still has way to much talent to be that bad

I agree. The Kings should be much better than they are.

I can't figure out what they are doing with Bagley. Play him or trade him.

The Kings fans gave poor Luke quite the send off.

I disagree, IMO, that roster stinks. I doubt Gentry turns the ship around. They might have a brief uptick as teams often do when they've tuned out the previous guy but Gentry's "We just need to hit our shots" coaching isn't enough to lift a team with no defenders, little facilitating and a mess of a bench.

I agree about Bagley though, while I think he stinks their handling of him makes no sense.

They got
Fox
Halliburton
Barnes
Holmes
Mitchel

That’s good young talent

@Finito already gave my answer.
