RHP Jon Duplantier threw two scoreless relief innings for @Aces yesterday. He walked three but allowed just one hit and struck out a pair. In his last three outings, he's pitched nine scoreless innings, struck out thirteen but walked seven. #DbacksMinors

Thanks for your work, Ronin, in keeping us updated about individual
performances in our farm system. And starting the game threads.

Of course, my having lived in Albuquerque for a year back in 1990,
and revisiting a couple of years ago, I know that there isn't a heck
of a lot more to do. Your museum is great, though.

And I had to visit Dion's Pizza for old time sake. 29 years ago, it
ruled, and was still pretty good.

I did enjoy, back then, attending Albuquerque Dukes AAA games
to see the up-and-coming and some over-the-hill Dodgers players.

And going up the Sandias, whether the tram from its west side or
driving halfway up the east side.

I'll always have a warm spot for Albuquerque. Including the two
women I dated, one after the other, of course.

I would add Sadies for good Mexican food. Short trek to Santa Fe Downs. Some nice golf courses. There was a restaurant that served family style fried chicken with all the fixings on the back side of the Sandia's that I loved when I was a kid...Buena Vista maybe?

Haven't been back since my grandparents passed away but I always love ABQ.
