Budinger just sold for cash and a future second to Houston. If the Suns wanted him, they could have picked him up rather cheaply.

Why does Jay Bilas think that every player should be picked in the late first rd?

Welp the Suns take some Euro to stash away.

I cant believe Christmas is still on the board, he's 6'5'' and can shoot youd think someone would take him.

So we sell the Euro guy for cash, even though we could have left him in Europe and it wouldn't have cost us a dime. Of course we've done that before with Rodriguez and Fernandez. Good thing we've learned our lesson.

Wait a minute, did we sell the euro pick Pretzel?

We didn't really get Danny Green did we? Must be a typo on nbadraft.net.

I don't like the selection of brother Griffin in the second round. Was hoping for someone with a higher ceiling or someone dropping... Rats!

We should bring Christmas to summer league.

I was hoping Patty Mills falls to the Suns and when he did the Suns chose the other Griffin. Sad. :bang:

Much better options with this pick.

I'd have loved that pick. Of course, I am a bit selfish. But having an Aussie on the Suns would have been great! Every game on Channel One would be Phoenix or Milwaukee :)

Late but 2 things that interested me in this draft.

Before the drinking thing caused him to pull out last year, Lawson shut down his workouts claiming ankle injury when everyone else said he had a guarantee. He of course had a foot problem at the beginning of this year but he had a great year, got picked and then traded to Denver. And the team everyone said had given him a guarantee last year was... Denver. Makes you wonder was the foot injury a coincidence, was there no actual guarantee and it's just coincidence he wound up in Denver, or something else?

Philly's GM admitted they never worked out Jrue Holiday. The reason was simple, he refused to workout for them because "his people" were convinced he was going top 10, so why workout for a team picking 17th? Philly thought he was going much higher and were thrilled to get him they say, but they never worked him out, and late workouts in Sac and Minnesota actually dropped him out of the top 10. Makes you wonder how many other non top 10 teams did he refuse to workout for, and did that cause him to slide?
