I know I haven't followed college football a ton this year, but who?

No offense. Jon Stewart could be a nice prospect for all I care. He is nowhere near as talented as McFadden, though. I wasn't sold on Bush coming out, or Tomlinson, or even necessarily on AP. Seeing McFadden, though, I am almost 100 percent certain that, barring injury, he will be a HOF back.
I wanted to let this slide, but I just can't...

First of all, how can you say that Stewart is nowhere near as talented when you haven't seen him play?! I personally think there really isn't a massive disparity between the two as many would have you think - much like the Peterson v. Lynch debates last year. I've watched Stewart for a long while.

Watch Stewart play - or at least some highlights - he'll blow you away. He's a T10 pick on talent alone, but will slip because of the offense he's in. He has elite back written all over him. Like pre-injury Fred Taylor good.

That is a fair point indeed, and I will withhold judgment until I see some highlights of his. Still, I seriously doubt anyone will play better in the NFL than McFadden. He's just a complete stud, with the speed and the power.

That funny, so is Stewart for the exact same reasons. :)

I just caught a few minutes of the Oregon game. Stewart has about 250yds. He reminds me a bit of Maurice Jones Drew......which isn't a bad thing.

McFadden wasn't close to that at the Cotton Bowl today. I was at the game in Dallas, and we did a nice job neutralizing McFadden, although he did still go for 105 yards and a score. But he wasn't anywhere near the best running back on the field today. Tony Temple was unbelievable for Missouri.

As a disclaimer, in no way am I suggesting we should pick Temple, or that McFadden's overrated, or that Temple's the better player overall. But on this day, he was.
