Jan. 3—ELK RIVER — With Christian Hill in between the pipes for the Bemidji High School boys hockey team, all the Lumberjacks need is one goal.
And that's all they got Friday night in Elk River, as the Jacks defeated Elk River/Zimmerman 1-0.
Griffon Dewar was the lone goal scorer, scoring with four minutes left in the first period with the assist coming from Wesley Truax.
Hill would stop everything the rest of the way, making 35 saves and surviving four different Elk power plays.
