Fully expect the Rams to be watching how the game between the seahawks and niners is going to see if they rest their starters in the second half.
The NFL, unhelpfully for the Cardinals, scheduled the 49ers-Seahawks game for Saturday, so the Rams will know before they kick off whether the game will be meaningful.

I agree with previous posters that if they have nothing to gain, they'll rest most key players by the second half if not sooner. And they'll probably still win easily with mostly backups.

But a Seahawks win would be best for the Cardinals "hopes" of losing.

The RB room is empty. Conner will be 31 and coming back from an injury they expect will extend into the 2026 season. Benson has been disappointing and the rest are just scrubs that were never NFL starters.

There are some FAs that can be contributors who I think can become a lead RB if given the opportunity and they will probably need to draft a RB too. Benson has only played in 17 of a possible 34 games so his availability is suspect. Conner has missed time in every season he has played and at 31 is past his prime and will only become more brittle as he ages. Conner could serve as a complementary RB like Montgomery does in Detroit to Gibbs with limited carries but then you need a workhorse like Gibbs which is lacking right now. Conner cannot be the primary RB anymore.
Totally agree. But bringing back Connor would be so Cardinal like.
There are at least 5-6 running backs that we could grab that could step right in. But we will here ( by some here) we can’t afford them.

The Cards have so many holes to fill they pretty much cannot go wrong with their first pick but then with their history who knows. Personally I think they need Oline help but finding Conners replacement is also an option. So if they draft Jeremiah Love from Notre Dame with their 1st rd pick I would be ok with that also.

The chance of that happening with this Cardinal team are slim and none and you know the rest.
I don’t buy that “oh no, this franchise is cursed.” I don’t understand why anyone would be a fan of a team, if they truly think it will never get better.

Could care less what you “buy.” The chances of a rookie QB taking this mess to the playoffs next year is remote to say the least in my opinion. Oh and please tell me when I said this team will never get better.

Then why are you on a message board?

Now you are doing it well.

Now you do want to listen?
You have a comprehension problem. You not buying what I say is your problem.
My opinion on what is possible with this team vs yours is what a message board is about.
Not sure about your last comment but again please tell me where I said the Cardinals could never get better.
