I think we are seeing still the limits of K2s ability as a coach. First as a HC now as an OC.

We will see though. We have never seen K1 with a great coach.
In fact I would say the Cards have had few great coaches but didn't look great while here. Even BA looked meh later in his tenure here.

Hurts - it’s because similar to Lamar after seeing what he couldn’t do year 1 they schemed to throws he can make 51 and 61% first to years in the nfl. It really isnt rocket science.. and again it’s documented. Great coaching, don’t try to do what you know your QB can’t do.

No that’s not the difference.. I guess you missed the point. The coaches created an offense to scheme around what they are good at and the throws that they can make. They didn’t try to make these quarterbacks pocket passers. This is documented.

What kind of offense do you want him to run? According to Klayton Adams...KM doesn't want to be a running QB, so where does that leave him? You can only do so many roll-outs before teams adjust. The hard truth is, he HAS to be better in the pocket to be successful in this league. How are you supposed to scheme for a QB that doesn’t want to run, but also doesn’t want to stay in the pocket?

Kyler stats in play action have been good.. under the center straight drop backs w a weak interior line? Doomed for failure. No one said keep him under center, but a good mix is needed to incorporate play action. Again, it’d be interesting if we had ever built a formidable interior line to even see if it somewhat helped the issue. I really hope he’s traded, gone. He can’t win with this organization - he needs a veteran OC and a premiere interior oline to even help overcome his issues.

I’m really not going to break down this list. You can do the research yourself- I’d guess at least 75% of the teams have veteran OCs. Your guess is as good as mine as to how many have good IOL. Would any of them want Murray - sure someone that feels they can fix him, sees the athletic talents or maybe even someone that sees that he’s played for a completely broken organization.

Pretty sure a lot of posters here who didn’t take in the context of Daniel Jones situation in NYG and thought no one wanted him. When in fact at least 2 teams did in the Vikings and the Colts. Colts put him in a situation to thrive… Darnold and Baker same story. So ya I’m sure a few teams out there think this about Kyler as well. You could easily argue Kyler was better than all their failed situations and you could easily argue that Kyler’s organization was equal or worse than the aforementioned QBs. Ultimately time will tell.. we should move on, and he should move on. As I don’t see Arizona or Kyler winning by staying status quo.

We have created a significantly deeper bench than any GM/coach tandem in Cardinal history. Any other team since 1964 that incurred as many injuries as we have now would be losing by multiple scores by this point. My disappointment with the coaching staff has been their unwillingness to be more aggressive. The nonsense of saying that all we need to do is win by 1 point has to stop. If we’re up 7, we need to be up 14! BUILDING sustained success isn’t necessarily always enjoyable. It’s only enjoyable once you get there & Injuries have no doubt delayed that goal.

We have had no success to build on. We're not just some coaching decisions away from a successful team. The roster isn't good enough either. Sure, we have more depth. Unfortunately, we don't have the Big Johns, especially at QB and OL, to be successful.

Uh no Kliff didn’t. Kliffs nfl offense mirrored Kliffs college offense. It was extremely predictable. We did not roll kyler out, we rarely ran play action from under the center, we rarely did motion, etc.

Yes - Lamar and Hurts are infinitely better. But they are not pocket passers nor did their teams try and make them pocket passers.

But he has. He said he was more comfortable in the shotgun. My opinion is he doesn't like turning his back on the rush. In shot gun he can look at the rush before he starts his reads.
