Kirk was the last remaining player from our 2018 draft class.

And somehow Steve Keim received a 5 year extension. Just baffling.

It's not...we just don't want to face the hard, brutal truth of the matter. He's getting paid for his stop gap signings. Is what it is. It's something we'll all just have to live with IMO. Get lucky on a draft.or two and play to the big boys strengths of plug and play. Gotta flip my glib mindset of the man for my own sanity as a fan at this point.

Kirk biggest issue is being a reliable catcher in clutch situations
Playing for the Jaguars there are less of those situations
Thats why they see the potential

$21M per year would make him the third-highest paid receiver in annual salary (at this point anyway) in 2022 behind DeAndre Hopkins ($27.25M) and Julio Jones ($22M).

At $18m per season, Christian Kirk is in the top 10 in average per year for wide receivers. For now, anyway. Tyreek Hill deal still to be completed. Others on the way as well.
