Should be very interesting to see how this team, and more importantly leaders such as Goldy, Perralta, Pollack and Escobar respond after being benched.
Not saying they have to produce a sweep... but, their play better resemble a high degree of high-quality effort and execution. No more stupid errors, particular mental errors (Goldy ending the game on a stolen base attempt!).

"Clutch" Peralta with the D-backs traditional 2-run HR in the 1st. That should help Greinke pitch naturally.

I hope, just as with the 2018 BabyBacks of the last game, we can score throughout the game.

Sadly, the same ol' story. A 2-run HR by Peralta in the 1st, then nothing through the 7th from the D-backs hitters.

And it's 6-2 Rockies in the bottom of the 8th. I see a 3-run bottom of the 9th to fall one short -- that's been done recently. If we're lucky.

Why oh why is the offense in a coma from the 2nd inning on?

Maybe we should have stuck with the . . . never mind.

Ever since Pollock became a "power hitter", he has fallen apart. BB just referred to how he's been popping everything up. Popups -- the D-backs dilemma.

'Couldn't get the runner in from 3rd. Final = 6-2 Rockies.

Something needs to be done about the Diamondbacks hitting philosophy before next season.
