Closely monitoring - you mean by listening to the local ARIZONA morning radio show, as I stated in my posts. LOL

As I've said before, I have been a Cards fan longer than Kyler has been alive, and I'll be one long after he's hung up his little cleats. Some of the accounts on here only joined around the time Kyler became a Cardinal and they seem more obsessed with how he is doing now than the diehard Cards fans. They were always more Kyler fans than actual Cardinals fans.

Once the season starts, my wife and I will be going to all the Cardinals home games as we always do. The Cardinals and Vikings do not play each other this regular season, so how the Vikings do is of no consequence, unless we are fighting for a wild card spot or something.

To think anyone that posts here regularly ISN'T a Cardinals fan is interesting. Why would anyone waste any precious time on this awful franchise if they didn't have the misfortune of being a fan?

I am so happy that Kyler is gone. He is Minnesota's headache now. I want him to get the QB job there so they can experience the pain of Cards fans everywhere when he lets them down like he let all of us down. Kyler will never have sustained success in the league. He'll show flashes then regress. It's what he does. He'll always be remembered for backing into the playoffs and getting destroyed by the Rams.

Still not understanding that this franchise is the worst thing for QBs ever.

Kurt carried it but ultimately we didn’t invest in the line and he was older.

Palmer fired his coach or oh yeah ran him out of town after going to the NFC Championship.

Kyler never got him a line. Lack of weapons and an owner who sabotaged him at every turn. Horrible coaches to boot.

The Vikings actually are a successful franchise with a real coach.

i think it's easier for qbs like kyler to look good in the controlled environment that is training camp

kyler knows he's not going to get blindsided in practice - he knows he's not getting hit period

don't be surprised if this competition drags on - don't be surprised if they want to see kyler under live fire - they only dropped a million on him and they aren't dependent on him - half the fanbase is rooting for jj

Training camp can't feature one of Kylers 's strong points with is speed and his ability to break plays for long gains or first downs. JJ is not a bad running qb but not in Kyler's league especially scrambling.

Give them a participation Lombardi trophy or a banner that says, "Always just a QB away."

Look at how quickly they jettisoned Sam Darnold after a successful season and look what he went on to do - win a Super Bowl. Yeah, they're big geniuses in Minnesota, don'tcha know?

We were in the SB in 2009 and a game away again in 2015. More competitive than they've been since I was 5 years old.

To be fair, I predicted great success for Kyler Murray, once he leaves the NFL for the CFL, just like Doug Flutie did.

Are their linemen any shorter than ours? He's going to have the same limitations. We started 7-0 with him here before the wheels just fell off.

The lineman are different. The coaching staff is different. The franchise is different.

None of those three things that I mentioned guarantee success for Kyler. We have seen plenty of player leave the Cards to have great success elsewhere.

There clearly are some differences, even if you don't want to see them.

Me too but I'm only rooting for him twice a year when Minnesota is my second favorite team. That team is whoever is playing the peckers that week. Man gas talent just too scared to use it. IMO

I agree, he was off the charts sometimes and then WTF running out of bounds behind the LOS. He's got skills, but IMO this year is make or break for him.

Every team has had 100yrs of ineptitude and a family that are just above the Clampetts as owners.
