#AZCardinals HC Mike LaFleur ahead of Cards Camp Day 5:

- players look forward to pads coming on today.

- inspiration from real time replays at practice: “there’s so many benefits” and cites immediate feedback for coaching. Team will also carry this into Tempe practices too, citing Atlanta and Minnesota as other teams who do it too.

- Says team will not tackle each other in practice but can get better run looks in practice now and play-action can carry out better now. Looking forward to a more physical camp now.

- When asked about Jacoby “cramming” Says team has 11-hour days and quarterbacks have 2 hours and 45 minutes of meetings before lunch. Also says they’ll do a staged walk-through every day of plays they’ll run.

- Marvin Harrison is “totally good” and suffered some cramps. Seems like he’s okay.

- Roy Lopez will be back at practice today. Want to be smart with him.

- Says team will practice in the morning once they get back to tempe initially before their “mock week” ahead of the regular season due to weather. It’s very clear he’s put a ton of thought into the schedule regarding the heat.

- Says Carson Beck takes it one day at a time and team has intentionally put quarterbacks in tough predicaments. Likes how he has handled the adversity.

- Jordan Burch has worked a ton on the little details and told him that “he can be as good as he wants to be.”

- “I think he’s done a really good job” on Elijah Wilkinson. Believes he played well in ATL last season. Says the feedback has been good from him in meetings.

- No updates on PUP guys coming back at this time

Marv might not be the guy.

He's in his own head, I feel like.

MHJ might not end up being a top-10 NFL wideout, but I still think there's a lot of talent there. My worry would be is that he recognizes it after four years here, for another team... as maybe an ultra-competent WR2.

It’s crazy to me how Cardinals fans will give cardinal players so much leeway…. I bet if he was on another team, people wouldn’t be saying this.

Dude, for a WR in the NFL, that's just pitch and catch. If he's in his head during practice knowing he's not going to get hit.....maybe just a little gummy before a game might help...LOL

It's one drop in training camp, on the first day with our starting QB, ostensibly.

The guy had 800+ yards his rookie year, then appendicitis, and was continually hurt. Is it disappointing? Sure. I didn't claim he'd be a star. We might not be getting #3 overall production, but he might not be outright terrible.

That’s his second embarrassing drop of camp.

More easy AF drops

Everyone going nuts about a single drop where you can't see crap from that video angle. You can't even see the ball arrive at Marv, could have been a yard behind him.
