Guess the teams finally realized how fishy it looks to start announcing signings right away.
Lots of prep work going into how to introduce Bridges. When has that ever stopped them? I'm surprised the Suns haven't announced a signing.
You know what I want them to do.feels like there's still another big move coming - bigger than the free agent guards gambo is alluding to - ish has first round picks lol - you know they're burning a hole on his pocket
They got what they wanted first and did not wait around for scraps to fall to them.Gotta reemphasize it again. Brian Gregory got all our in house guys resigned before free agency. Makes a trade for a PF before free agency starts. Realizes we need a shooter, and fills that roster spot in the first day of free agency. You can argue they may have wasted an unconditional first round pick, maybe not optimized assets, but the SPEED in which everything got done was spectacular.
I am looking at the Laker's situation. LeBron not staying in LA to play with Luka. Kennard choose us over LA. Previouly Kennard said he wanted to play for a playoff contender. Ouch. Just from the outside it looks like no one wants to play with Luka. They got what they wanted first and did not wait around for scraps to fall to them.
I have a hunch that a lot of NBA players would like to play for Ott.
Talk about a guy who takes up all the oxygen in the room. Especially in competition with a guy (Bron) who is no slouch in the oxygen-huffing department himself.Just from the outside it looks like no one wants to play with Luka.
You REALLY have to wonder what was going down in Dallas when they let a generational talent like that go off their squad for a guy who can't stay on the court. Some day that whole story is going to come out. It's probably going to be fascinating.Talk about a guy who takes up all the oxygen in the room. Especially in competition with a guy (Bron) who is no slouch in the oxygen-huffing department himself.
That is in entirely apparent. It seems like no one much likes him as a teammate. Watching his entitled attitude on the court during the game, it's not hard to imagine why. I would wager he's just as bad in other contexts.I am looking at the Laker's situation. LeBron not staying in LA to play with Luka. Kennard choose us over LA. I don't know. I look at Spencer's stats and he certainly look like a two-way guy. His 3 point shooting is ok. 36%.I am almost positive now Jalen Green is getting traded.
We didn't just sign Kennard and Spencer with no minutes available for them.
I have no idea who it would be for, maybe Sengun? Trey Murphy? I don't know, but I feel a deal is coming.
Well, he is older and not a lot of teams want to use a 2 way spot on a 29 year old. I'm not saying he's a great player, but he is a like a 10th man on most teams.I don't know. I look at Spencer's stats and he certainly look like a two-way guy. His 3 point shooting is ok. 36%.

It's not just this, this is just the final straw.Spencer is a Two-Way player and Kennard can easily play SF off the bench. He isn't a starter or a Sixth man. I think you're reading way too much into things,
Agree. Green isn't going anywhere, definitely not replaced by the Kennard and Spencers.Spencer is a Two-Way player and Kennard can easily play SF off the bench. He isn't a starter or a Sixth man. I think you're reading way too much into things,
The only thing is Green is all we really have left to trade. Those first round picks we have are just sweetener. Plus we have no roster spots open. We have to trade.
I will have to admit with guys like Simons signing for 6 million a year who is probably 80% of Jalen it is giving me pause on how much trade value he does have.Green isn't a trade asset. If we could trade him for a positive return he'd already be gone.
I'd love to move off Green, but I don't think these signings have much of an impact on his status... a two way player and 9th man shooting specialist... these are dudes any team could use.
Anywhere did I say he was a GOOD asset? LOL. Basically, if we don't want to trade our young guys, and even if we move our highly split first rounders, we have to move someone because we have no roster spots left. Green is the most likely shoe to drop. Maybe not this season. If the Suns show ANY patience at all, Green becomes and expiring contract next season and would be way more desirable at the trade deadline.Green isn't a trade asset. If we could trade him for a positive return he'd already be gone.

I think the fact that green averaged the minutes played when he was healthy is a direct contradiction of your perspective that the suns view him as a negative and just can’t rid themselves of him.Green isn't a trade asset. If we could trade him for a positive return he'd already be gone.
