back in the day a d lineman could say on TV...Im gonna kill that QB...and somehow folks knew that he meant it metaphorically, and that said QB was not actually in danger of losing his life...just in danger of experiencing immense pain...

but today?? Naw...these sissies today would demand U.S> Marshall 24 hour protection and every news outlet in the world would be calling for the defender to be prosecuted....fans would boycott his team...EVERYbody would be OUTRAGED!!!!
