i get it - kyler gets straight up smoked by jj mccrappy (after losing his job to jacoby) and you're having some sort of relapse now realizing kyler might not even start

Kyler's biggest issue is that he doesn't like throwing the ball over the middle, he loves throwing outside the numbers. It's the same issue that ultimately crushed Russell Wilson's career.

Russ might have played himself OUT of the hall of fame. He's likely in the conversation but he's definitely not a first ballot guy and the narrative will always be that he was carried quite a bit by a strong running game and great defense.

The Cardinals version of Lord of no Rings is not a very good book. The part were Frodo Murray steps on the pebble while trying to maneuver around a 6' ft. Nah. Thats why there’s a waiting period. No one will remember Rogers time with the Jets and the Steelers; no one remembers Favres time with the Jets and the Vikes; no one will remember Russ’s last few years in the wilderness.

You make a wild generalization about the last three years of a career that spanned fourteen seasons. Russ was an unqualified success. Ben Roethlisberger never made first team all pro, either.
