Herbert lives a charmed life.

Paid millions, dates a smoke show, and never has to prove he is good.

That’s the life.
He’s 52-43 as a starter and it’s not like the Chargers are a well-run organization.

Hasn’t eclipsed 4000 yards in the past two seasons but there are moments, even under my GOAT Jim Harbaugh, when the Chargers offense seems like “Justin do something.”

Harbaugh will find his replacement if he doesn’t come through this season.

Maybe. It’s really hard to upgrade from the 13th best QB in the NFL to the 8th.

(FWIW I think that Herbert is better than both those rankings but I’m accepting the premise of your argument. I think Herbert might be the best QB playing RN who hasn’t won an MVP.)

The Seahawks are now in line to receive third-round compensatory picks in each of the next two drafts by virtue of losing Nolan Teasley to the Vikings as their GM
I have no idea how any of that works but I'm sure there are plenty of cardinal's staff we can afford to lose to anyone out there for extra picks...;)

He’s done nothing in the NFL except get paid and throw really pretty incompletions.

I do love the sycophants that slobber over him for no justifiable reason though.

The Chargers are an infinitely better organization than the Cards.
Harbaugh is one of the best NFL coaches ever.
Dude is still just barely above .500.

What? Chargers are definitely one of the worst run, with near the worst owners, and one of the most snakebitten franchises. Do you even Charger?

Herbert would be an upgrade on 25+ teams. It's true that he does need to find success in the playoffs. Going the Stafford route so far.

Imagine that

Hiring a GM from a winning franchise

Michael, are you paying attention?
That the finalists for the Cards GM search ended up being from Tennessee (who had been on a nice run but weren’t exactly roster-rich) and Chicago (who last had a winning season in 2018) speaks volumes about the talent Michael is able to attract.

The Chargers run circles around the Cards as an organization in terms of leadership and execution.

Them signing Jim Harbaugh is proof enough.

Bidwill could never land a coach of that caliber even if he offered a billion dollars.

Both are bottom rung franchises. If you don't know that, you know nothing about the Chargers. Find me one fan that would agree with you. I got the entirety of SD that wouldn't.

Congratulations on following them for the past 2 years.

Recruiting Harbaugh was really the first serious thing a deeply unserious organization has been able to accomplish.

Michael could obviously never, but this was a franchise that hosted a dinner at the New Orleans Marriott to woo Eli Manning, and the coach, GM, and owner were feuding at the table.

Three years of competence under Harbaugh doesn’t erase everything else.

We are negotiating with a 20-45 backup and can’t get the deal done or just cut the dude to save face.

You are referencing something from almost 20 yrs ago.

There are levels to this which you obviously don’t understand.

Are the levels in the room with us now?

From an owner, leadership, any FO whatever perspective, no one would ever consider them competent to any degree. They've had some decent/great players and teams, like us, but that's it and they squandered them, like us.

Kudos, you'd be the only person in the world in your camp. If you want to say they are better, sure, but then we're splitting hairs.

But run circles? Infinitely better? Lmfao. I can't even.

Harbaugh blows your entire rant out of the water.
