I will be at opening day one way or another… either with big brother Ouchie or my Little Brother from another mother who I cursed/forced to be a Cardinals fan when we were matched in the BBSLA program so many moons ago.

Hopefully it’ll be both and Ouchie’s boys… who now tower over all of us.
That sounds like a blast, hope you all get together just to see how many of you come out of Ouchies car....ba dum Tss ;)

I already bought my ticket and working on flights and hotel this afternoon. Last up New York...
Great stadium and seen the Cards play there a few times.

I just can't bring myself to want to be in LA.

Looking at the Giants game though.

Never been to that stadium and NYC is fun for a few days.

The Cardinals' schedule release video was ranked dead last by The Athletic:
The Cardinals used AI to bring together a Zoom meeting of the mascots. I found it hard to keep up with the chat while also watching the mascots interact on camera. Some highlights include the Chargers going offline when their mascot is called out for not being real (the Chargers don’t have a mascot), and the Raiders’ mascot stalking quarterback Fernando Mendoza on LinkedIn during the ending clips. But overall, not my favorite.

@Brian in Mesa you might get an old school halftime meet
Oh don't bring back the 1-15 jets. There was a dude who sat in sec 27, our section back at SDS. He was a cards fan all year but showed up in a jets jersey for that game. We gave him hell until we lost and gave them their only win on the year

My wife loves NYC. I lived there for 9 years and can get around the city pretty well. And she loves to shop in 5th Ave. Thinking about staying in Brooklyn the old stomping grounds.

Disagree. Even if we were just 'okay', it's a terrible sked.
1. Toughest part, the front end. Have us out of contention, early.
2. Bye week #14. Must have been an after thought, when they realized AZ didn't have a Bye.
3. I believe five of the final six are at home. Will be tough to sell or even give the tickets away. And, by then all starters will be injured.
4. And for those who want the #1 pick, keep in mind that doesn't mean we'll get the best QB based on recent history.
I get your point and agree with all of them. Keep in mind however, fans of teams who actually win football games perhaps give cursory brain space to believing in the unfairness that the league affords their team in regards to the schedule. But teams that do NOT win football games, feel like the league is piling on, and that the sky is falling. My point is, if we were going to be a say, 10 to 12 win team, but we only managed 7 and missed the playoffs, we could point to the schedule and say "Ain't THAT some isht." But because we predicted our win total at like 4 before the schedule release, its not really an excuse for us, because we already suck.

on the release video: it has nothing to do with the football team, and in fact, nobody really talks about 28 or 30 of these things........ BUT:

its just another reminder that this organization cant do things at an NFL average level.

Win/Loss
NFLPA report card
release video

all bottom 3.

The last two of these items are 100% in the control of ownership to improve in one season.

Can they get to middle third of the NFL? Is that really too much to ask?

It also means zero national exposure.

Yay for returning to irrelevance.
And this is exactly what will work for us. Everybody's heard of the old "trap" game. Well, I figure we start 3-0 before people wake up. Then we lose 3, back to irrelevance. Rip off another 3 wins...we should end up with 9 or 10 wins.

No alcohol or stimulating drugs were used in the thoughts of this post. It's very possible that's where I may have gone off the rails. LOL

You know how we all rationalize things, like why we made a mistake or whatever.

But I honestly wonder how bidwill looks at the carnage and epic failure wrought by the Cardinals under his stewardship, and then looks in the mirror and thinks “I’m a good NFL owner”. It’s impossible.

Or even worse, he doesn’t care about winning at all, and looks at us like we’re just sheep waiting to be sheared.

In any event, he’s now approaching “monster” status, which is so so sad for us diehard fans. :(

Yes.

If you don't like that, you don't like Cardinal football baby! Woo

I would guess he's quite full of himself. Which isn't the worst thing in the NFL environment, but he's got nothing to back it up.

We got him for life. A life sentence rather.

At least if you're young, you can look forward to a day when Bidwill packs it in and possibly sells the team since he has no kids. As for me, he's like my age. I'll just have to make sure I outlive the bastard.

Obviously the Chargers vid deserves a rewatch. Didn’t catch this the first time.
I dont know. You have to be DEEPLY attuned to gaming culture for ANY of it to make a lick of sense. Aging out of a target demographic is ROUGH on the ole ego. Plus, the commentator feels soft as a baby's butt to me.

Yeah there’s a density of information that I just can’t take in. I need an explainer.
