Meanwhile, our offense has scored only 10 runs in the last 7 games. How long can this continue?

Hopefully they break out of it. It's not really enjoyable baseball to watch. Anything below a .700 OPS is considered below average. Right now that list for us is:

Marte .640
Del Castillo .601
Gurriel .514
Moreno .622

And then Waldy and Barrosa are both like .640

So literally half the lineup is below average right now.

Yeah, this is awful. It also makes for boring baseball. Aside from the win, yesterday's game was an eye sore tbh

Well, we gave Gallen our obligatory 1 run. That’s about all we are giving our starters now. Gallen is so inconsistent.

The only guys hitting right now are Carroll and Vargas. At some point you can't hit "never seen a first pitch he won't swing at" Ketel Marte in the leadoff.

To me, this is the ideal order right now but it still sucks. The Dbacks having 3 switch hitters gives you some flexibility.

Carroll leading off. Actually takes walks, hits, and steals bases.
Perdomo 2nd. Great pull hitter and can move Carroll over or single him to score.
Vargas 3rd. Consistent contact
Arrenado 4th. Lesser Vargas but not a switch
Marte 5th. Still has some power but maybe seeing the pitcher a few times early limits the first pitch swing
Moreno 6th. He can't hit this bad all year.
Fernandez/Del Castillo DH 7th. Hurry back Pavin Smith
Waldschmidt 8th. He might move to 6th if he keeps it up and bump the rest down.
Gurriell 9th. The absolute anchor on the payroll can anchor the 9 hole.
