If Ausar Thompson ever learns to shoot he'll be dangerous. He misses so many easy shots and for a guy who can jump out of the gym he gets blocked over and over because he can't shoot so he's constantly trying to get closer to the rim and goes into shotblockers. He's cost Detroit at least 8 in the first half by not finishing or going too far and getting blocked

Lots of NSFW language here but this clip slays me.

The 6 foot floater for an airball when he had an easy dunk is especially great.

I don't even know if he's lazy, he just doesn't get it... at all. Honestly, to me, he thinks jumping for a contest on a guy 20 feet away, is a hustle move, even though it takes him totally out of position to box out.

He's just an idiot.

Brought me some joy to see him called out for jumping to block a shot 20 feet away. He'd do that here regularly and it drove me nuts. So glad he's a Laker now. I hope he re-signs in LaLa-Land

Sadly, the Suns are so bad at center, he would have helped them.

The lakers would have gone out in round 1 being swept by OKC as well, so that statement is really meaningless.
That's what 8th-seeded teams tell themselves when trying to compare themselves to a 3-seed. Even without Reaves for most of the series and zero Luka, we won a playoff series.

The Knicks are the 4th team in NBA history with multiple 30-point series-clinching wins in a single postseason.

They join the 2025 Thunder, 2008 Celtics, and 1987 Lakers.

All 3 of those teams went on to win the NBA title.

And they did. big call but absolutely correct. Weird play I don't know what set him off but he clearly elbowed Reid intentionally right in the jaw
