Couldn’t be more tired of hearing ppl continually say next years QB class is going to awesome!I heard it last year and thought, “I haven’t seen anyone who is great” & as it turns out the top 2 weren’t even being talked about & most others aren’t even slated as starters! This coming year, based off what I have watched there are TALENTED guys but don’t think any have proven to be GREAT QBs, yet…So this whole wait and get your franchise guy makes so little sense to me! If there is a guy that you think could be a good starting QB you grab them whenever & however… too many teams keep waiting for that guy and struggle to truly find them!

This is almost like you want to hurry up and get the pick in before they have time to review the board. Waiting here with the 2nd pick with a division rival who has the same needs you have and a day to think the pick over is less than ideal.

I agree, but *gestures at the 2026 draft class* who?

I don’t see Nussmeier ever becoming a starter. McCoy lost a year of development and coming back off ACL is iffy. 15% chance of another ACL. The Cards have struggled with returning injured CBs.

Cards have shown they don't care about ACLs with the Garett Williams pick.

I disagree on Nussmeier. I see a high level starter when healthy.

Time to draft McCoy. Another top pick bogged down with knee issues.

In the next two rounds I just want someone who will be on the field contributing next year; OL, DL, WR, LB, CB or S. I can't imagine the remaining QB's will do that.

Can’t say I’m an expert oline evaluator, but are we saying Adams isn’t it? I thought he started playing better towards the end of the year.
GC, you'll get a good glimpse of what the coaches think of Adams by what round they address the OL. The later the round the more they like Adams.

I agree with this most years, and I know things can change drastically over the course of a year. Last year at this time everyone had Drew Allar and Cade Klubnick as 1st round locks. I just don't see at this juncture how there aren't at least 3-4 really good qbs out of this group:

Dante Moore (would've been #2 this year had he come out)
Arch Manning
Julian Sayin
CJ Carr
Darian Mensah
Brendan Sorsby
Sam Leavitt
Josh Hoover
Trinidad Chambliss
Rocco Becht
Nico Iamaleava
Jayden Maiava
John Mateer
CJ Bailey

Are any of those names getting anyone to call the box office and buy tickets? Nope.

In a weak class the team needs to take BPA. There's nowhere on this team we can't improve.

Melton hasn't proven himself. SMB is a tinge starter. If Mccoy is the pick I won't be mad.
Monti just needs one, maybe two more chances at DB to find someone better than Starling Thomas III. Give him time, he’s a rookie GM in his fourth offseason.

Hope if they take him you’re right. I’ve not encountered anything indicating they like him. He is the best remaining QB

I doubt the Cards like Pregnon as much as I do. Ossenfort and I have never agreed though I think he’s been okay overall.

But GW has been hurt again so it wouldn't surprise me if that opinion has now changed.

If we didn't have needs at LB and OL and DL i'd be saying louder move down a few picks and take Branch. The impact of speed from him and Love would change the offense, he can return punts and KO's. But he's a luxury pick for us we have to address other areas. Love was too good to pass on.
