So you don’t think a back like Gibbs and McCaffery doesn’t impact the game more than a guy like Connor? No he won’t. At least, not much more than any starting-caliber RB could.
Than 2026 Conner? Probably, but not much.So you don’t think a back like Gibbs and McCaffery doesn’t impact the game more than a guy like Connor?
One of the two players listed is the best offensive player in the draft. Not the issue.
The issue is you hired an offensive coach and his first pick is a defensive guy.
Gannon ain’t here no more. Give the chef the ingredients he wants to cook with. Give the guy a fighting chance to actually win.
Until one of our get hurt.Than 2026 Conner? Probably, but not much.
I don’t think Gibbs or McCaffery add much marginal value over Tyler Allgier independent of surrounding cast, offensive system, etc. they offer some, but not a ton.
Shanahan took the 49ers to the Super Bowl with Raheem Moestert and Tevin Coleman as his leading rushers.
He had the same terrible catching technique at Ohio State, probably has had it since grade school. Maybe he's fixed it by year 3? If he doesnt learn how to catch properly it doesnt matter who the OC is.ya know...he just might...in a new offensive system...wait and see I guess
This plan worked well when passing on SuggsI have a feeling this is exactly what's going to happen. We're going to trade back and end up with Fano and Simpson, purely panic-based, need-based drafting, instead of getting any kind of game changing player. Fano will end up being a league average OT we're talking about replacing in a few years, and it'll be less than a year before we consider running back the plan on Josh Rosen/Kyler Murray with Simpson and whoever the new hotness is next year.
Yes. Purdue, Arkansas, and Boise State very scary programs. You guys need to watch his film, one thing about Notre Dame, love them or hate them, lol.... anyhow, they don't play cupcakes where a lot of backs feast on yardage. They even lost their early games last year, they schedule hard games all year. So he's the real deal.
Algiers gotta be like, "aww man, not again!"Hell yes! Not going to lie I was terrified we were going to draft another positionless linebacker in Reese. Love is a true alpha, I don’t care if he is being paid top 7 RB money, that won’t matter when he wakes this offense up.
I love Connor’s career as a cardinals, but my man had a terrible injury and is 30+, he’s here to mentor.
Algier will be a great second back similar to Atlanta.
I love the Love pick considering how weak this draft is- this team desperately needs a playmaker
Who do you think they should have drafted?Than 2026 Conner? Probably, but not much.

They made a big mistake not drafting Adrian Peterson years ago, I hope Love makes up for it. We need to go all in building the trenches now & an edge rusher.
I dunno. I don’t have time to study up on the draft anymore. Especially one that is as mid as this one.Who do you think they should have drafted?

Michael completed his journey to becoming his father tonight.
And?
Classic. So you’ve taken the perfect position to just take potshots in case the pick goes bad without going out on a limb and saying who you think should have been the pick. Should make for some good snark down the line from you that I’m sure we’ll all love.I dunno. I don’t have time to study up on the draft anymore. Especially one that is as mid as this one.
