Not right now but he's only 24 and getting better every year. In a few years it's not unconceivable that he's a top LT in the league. Agree, no need to extend him now but, barring injury, he's going to get paid. And the Cardinals should pay him.

That’s not how contracts work in the nfl, a good player at a given position that signs the most recent deal becomes the highest paid.

That's not how these new contracts work. You only need to be hovering around the top 10 at times to get a 'record breaking deal.' Records are broken every year with the way salary cap increases each year.

I don't. I'd let him walk for comp picks that'd we won't see because we don't usually have good players or a GM start enough to acquire them. I wouldn't pay that amount for at best their 3rd option on offense.

Justin Jefferson is at 35mil...Jamarr Chase, 40mil per year...

every WR in the top 10 is over 30mil per year.

and you know since Jamarr topped 40,...the next WR to get a contract wants more...thats just how the nfl rolls...you gotta stay in the headlines even if its for giving completely stupid contracts.

And traditionally LT's are right behind quarterbacks in salary with pass rushers...so 40mil is gonna happen soon
