Absolutely how do people not get this?
Sign Cousin who is a ok QB even at his age with the future developing knowing that he will start.
Cousins gets $20 million with zero pressure on him and Mendoza gets a Vet to watch and listen to.

Cardinals bring in 2 dudes that have been terrible throughout their career with zero plan for the future. Lets say they bring in Simpson or Beck. What the hell is Minshew and Brissett gonna teach those dudes? They don't know how to win the NFL at all.
They can teach them how to punt?

Tanking means you have to try to lose.
We don’t ever have to try.
When I was a little kid...my father was a Baptist preacher right? We were busy with a church function all day. I woke up extra early the next morning before school to the radio and the Cardinals lost. It was the first game of the 1982 season.

I was livid and was throwing stuff. My dad walks in and asked me what was wrong

"The Cardinals lost the opener dad"

He said "aren't you used to it by now?"

Or Sam Bradford

Was about to post the same thing.

Injury prone? Yes.

Capable when it matters? Absolutely not.

Capable of completing a 4 yard pass on 3rd and 8 during a huge drive... ABSOLUTELY!

Being a sub par QB, who completes a high percentage of their passes while failing in every meaningful moment is a windfall like no other.

Thought it was really weird seeing Washington and two QBs in the same draft. Figured RG3 would've had the more productive career but we know different
