Things need to improve for the fans.

I understand the logic of losing (tanking) or whatever one wants to call it, but personally, I've had enough.

They do. But is an extra dopamine hit or two going to change anything? They don't even have to try and tank, they will lose. Competitively, hopefully.

This is the time for MLF and coaches to test out some kinks as his first time HC gig and players to get reps. I expect more coaching changes next year as well.

This is also the time to build around our next QB. We will only be able to compete with one, with obviously other good/solid pieces as well.

Would you give up one win last year to take Mendoza? Is a lowly Saints/Panthers win worth that much?

Last season, sure. The Cards were going nowhere fast. It's the perpetual losing that gets old... postponing for tomorrow what should have been done yesterday. It's like a disease.

Yeah, it starts with B.

We're starting a new rebuild and our position is as rough as it gets to field competitively now.

But, I say we are in position to launch if Monti can land a couple solid picks this year, especially first rd, and maybe a little extra on the side.

Then next year we will have a pile of cash and in position to draft the QBoTF. If we are first pick, we can take the one we love, or have a(n) potential/opportunity to take someone else's farm and still get the QB we want. Or we just wait and see what's left at pick 4-6.

With enough tweaks, this SHOULD be a 2 year rebuild. It can be done and we will have the assets to do so.

Maybe no playoffs, but we should be close and look pretty good, or really good at times, even with a rookie QB.

If it's done right, we should be gliding by year 3.

It's always tomorrow. The way the Cardinals are going, it's going to require a long lifespan.

That's the life of the fan no matter what.

You know Dallas has 5 SB's? How do you think their fans feel? Probably not so hot, always waiting for tomorrow.

How about Bengals fans? Always heartbreak, now spawning a new generation of heartbreak a few years ago.

You know how depressed Chief fans got last year? Okay, bad example, but actually good if you think about it.

Yeah, you're supposed to look back at the good ol' times when times ain't so good, we just ain't ever livin'em, eh?

Everyone involved in the NFL is a merchant of war. The owners and fans are not and more alike than they seem. The main difference being money of ccourse.

Thanks, @kerouac9. LOL. One more year man, I promise. Nothing but smooth sailing.

Then we forsureforsure will get it right with the next combo.

We talking dreams, bro. That's all it ever is. Oh, and never forgetting the recurring nightmares that are in all the inescapable corners of our mind.

Eh, maybe not so much over the past couple/few years. It's been nice.

I really dislike players changing numbers and position numbers. I like the way that certain position groups are assigned a certain series of numbers.
Makes it much more difficult for me to follow the players as a fan when they change their numbers to whatever they want.

Just call me old school, because that's what I am.

The #AZCardinals have met with Missouri LB Khalil Jacobs, per
@JustinM_NFL

Jacobs played in all 13 games last season, recording 47 total tackles and three sacks

sees the #AZCardinals selecting QB Carson Beck in the third round.

"Beck's experience and strong pocket play would allow him to run the play-action-based offense Mike LaFleur brings to Arizona."

That would be god awful.
Do these draft sites watch the guys actually play or just look at numbers.
He stinks

So the Arizona Cardinals were in on the following free agent quarterbacks:
Kirk Cousins
Malik Willis
Jimmy Garoppolo
Did all three simply reject them over money? Starting option?
We are pathetic.
Beaten out by the Raiders, Dolphins, and Jimmy G just flat out said no and will retire.

Monti is an abject failure at securing talent for this organization.
He was also the architect of signing Colt McCoy and he was unusable and had to retire during camp which spured us bringing in the last minute Josh Dobbs.

Yet we are trusting this clown with bringing in the future franchise QB.

We are so fudged.
