Ty Simpson declares for the 2026 NFL draft

I didn't realise Simpson for nearly 23 and a half.

These are the QBs drafted the last 20 years with bottom 35th percentile height, weight and hand size and over age 23 (which Simpson is). Throw in his limited starts and I'm even more out.

All this recent hype is agent powered nonsense.

Simpson is risky. The games started is my biggest concern because it seems to matter based on prior QBs drafted. A late 1st or early second isn't a lot to invest with an offensive HC tho.

I agree that the 2027 QB pool is getting way too much hype. Many thought that this 2026 QB class would be good and none of the "experts" even had Mendoza rated high. If the Cards see a QB they really like they should draft him now.

I wouldn't get too excited by what either of these two talking heads say. Tannenbaum (one of the worst GMs E V E R) and Orlovsky will say pretty much anything to have someone listen to them or get clicks to seem relevant. Didn't Orlovsky play for the '08 Lions (0-16)? Come on, man!

Buddy Drake Maye was just the MVP Runner-up. Let’s slow down on Jayden Daniel’s as the “best” QB.

I wouldn’t take victory laps in year two. Daniela was amazing rookie season and Caleb grew leaps and bounds last season. I liked Maye the best too in that draft (I didn’t like Caleb or Daniels), but I was wrong.
